Bristol Rovers and Tiverton Town have never faced each other in a competitive fixture.
Tiverton was the destination for two players sent out on loan during the 2007-08 season. James Palmer spent the early part of the season on loan there, and was released by the Gas shortly after his return to the club. The second player to go on loan there was James Fraser, who scored just three minutes into his debut, earning a 1-0 victory over Bashley and a Man of the Match award for himself. Fraser's loan was initially for one month, but his stay was extended twice, taking him up to the maximum legal stay of three months.
The following season, 2008-09, Matt Groves joined the club on loan.
