The Internet Gas were a Bristol Rovers supporters group founded in the mid-1990s by Gerry Prewett and Mo Bell in an effort to keep Rovers fans around the world in touch with each other and with the latest club news. At the time Internet usage was growing rapidly from a specialist system used by academics and governments to a mass market, and the Internet Gas took advantage of this to bring news from home to many expatriates around the world, as well as those still in the UK.

As well as providing a platform for Rovers fans on the Internet a chance to get together electronically, they also took an active role in supporting the club through players' kit sponsorships and match sponsorships. Players sponsored included David Pritchard and Steve Parmenter, and match sponsorships included the 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in the FA Cup on 3 January 1998 as well as the 5-0 victory over Wigan Athletic on 10 April 1998.

In 2008 the Internet Gas relaunched at New members are welcome.
