Andrew Shore, known as Drew, was a midfielder who came through the Rovers youth system. He was awarded his first professional contract in the summer of 2001, which was only a six-month deal, but he did enough over the first half of the season to earn another six months to take him up to the summer. He was given a third six month deal, but failed to impress manager Ray Graydon and he was released at the end of 2002.
After coming through the Rovers youth system Drew spent 18 months with the first team, making just a handful of appearances - nine in the league and one in the Football League Trophy. He was released at the end of 2002 and he made the short journey to join Bath City, where he spent another 18 months and made 61 appearances, scoring 5 goals. Towards the end of his time at Bath he failed to keep a regular starting spot, and although he was offered a new deal he decided to try his luck elsewhere, and joined Mangotsfield United. He has since moved on from Cossham Street.
