Bryan Bush was a right winger, central midfielder and inside forward who joined Rovers from Soundwell in 1947. He made 113 league appearances for the Pirates before leaving to join Trowbridge Town in 1955.
Bryan started out working as a butcher in Bitton, before joining the Fleet Air Arm as an engineer. Following the conclusion of World War II he joined Bristol City on amateur terms, but failed to make any first team appearances for them. In 1946 he joined Soundwell for a year, with whom he was runner up in the Western League Second Division. He joined Rovers in 1957, and after eight years with The Gas he played non-league football with Trowbridge Town, Wells City and Bitton. Later in life he worked as a salesman.
He died in August 2008 following a stroke at the age of 83.
