The final fixture of 2007 was a home game against Carlisle United. Carlisle were placed near the top of League One, while Rovers were near the bottom and hoping to improve on their last match when they failed to beat Luton Town even though the Hatters were reduced to eight men.

Bristol Rovers v Carlisle UnitedEdit

This match resulted in Rovers' second league home win of the season, the first being a 2-1 victory over Millwall on 17 November, and featured the debuts of two Rovers players, with Josh Klein-Davies and Charlie Reece both coming on as substitutes late in the game. The first goal was initially credited to Chris Lines, but was later awarded to Andy Williams.
